Tell the Oriental sentiments in winter

The land is covered in white. Through that falling snowfall, we seem to be in a visual feast. Inspired by the Forbidden City, I created a series of hand-drawn illustrations with the theme of "Red Walls Reflected in the Snow", capturing the serene beauty of the palace walls in the snow and the vitality of the red plum blossoms in winter. This is not only a set of paintings, but also a tribute to Chinese culture.

The vermilion walls of the Forbidden City, covered by heavy snow, look like a sleeping giant dragon dressed in a silver-white robe. The golden glazed tiles on the palace walls glimmer faintly against the backdrop of snowflakes, like witnesses of time, silently guarding this ancient land. The red plum blossoms in the corner are like fairies in the picture. They bloom proudly in the cold wind. Their pink petals are like a touch of rouge, warming the entire silver-white scroll.

In the depiction of the red wall, I adopted a multi-layered color superposition, which not only showcases the weightiness of vermilion but also allows snowflakes to gently cover it, creating a soft and vivid effect.

The golden glazed tiles are the finishing touch in the painting. I used the effect of soft light to highlight their luster, making them shine brightly against the backdrop of white snow and blue sky.

Red plum blossoms are the soul of the picture. I use gradient pink and deep red to show the layering of the petals, and at the same time refine the texture of the branches, making them look as if they were alive.

A timely snow promises a good harvest. In traditional culture, snow is always endowed with beautiful meanings. It symbolizes harvest, purity and auspiciousness. The snow on the red walls is a tribute to the profound culture of the Forbidden City. The red plum blossoms in the corner are a tribute to the vitality of the New Year.

In this pure white world, the beauty of the red plum blossoms seems to tell us: Even in the coldest winter, there is still vitality. Even in adversity, one can still blossom. In the New Year, I hope this red wall in the snow can bring solace and yearning to every viewer's soul.

The New Year is a time full of hope. Through this set of "Snow Reflects the Red Wall" illustrations, I hope to add a touch of cultural warmth and color to the picture of the New Year. Whether it is the red walls, the white snow in the painting, or the red plum blossoms blooming proudly, they all represent a kind of aspiration and wish for the future.
